Fake Gold Bars in Fort Knox!

News Type: Event — Seeded on Wed Nov 25, 2009 9:22 PM EST

A recent discovery -- in October of 2009 -- has been suppressed by the main stream media but has been circulating among the "big money" brokers and financial kingpins and is just now being revealed to the public. It involves the gold in Fort Knox -- the US Treasury gold -- that is the equity of our national wealth. In short, millions (with an "m") of gold bars are fake!

Officials were shocked to learn that the bars were fake. They contained cores of tungsten with only a outer coating of real gold. What's more, these gold bars, containing serial numbers for tracking, originated in the US and had been stored in Fort Knox for years. There were reportedly between 5,600 to 5,700 bars, weighing 400 oz. each, in the shipment!

This is yet another story in the decline of America and capitalism -- a decline based on greed, deception and fraud.

Also interesting - this article just got zapped off the NV front page. I mean it went from (half an hour ago) #3 in my Top Seeds box to invisible. When I look at my top 100 Newsvine Columnists list also. Invisible.

Someone here doesn't like what you're writing, Fulcrum.

The gold in Fort Knox is real. Inventories have been done previously right down to the tenth of an ounce of total holdings, and they check for fakes.

Are you sure this article didn't originate with the infamous 'Weekly World News'? No one manipulated the article. Cream has a way of rising to the top at the Vine, and the stories as interesting as a box of rocks end up at the bottom.

Ron Paul made these claims described as a National Security Crisis over 12 years ago.

When he ran for the presidential nomination not one word was ever mentioned.

He stated no real audit had been done at Ft Knox for decades. Goldman Sachs and the Federal Reserve were considered to be a part of this deception.

Gold-Eagle.com published a number of these papers from Mr Paul.

Had he followed through when he had the public's ear I would have supported his nomination.

I read a story a couple of years ago, and then another one recently on GlobalResearch.ca that was talking about this. The gold was liquidated as part of the Wall Street Carry Trade industry. Wall Street, and primarily Goldman Sachs run the United State Treasury, and moved this gold to pad profits.

Disturbing if true...... But my Bulls**t meter is going off like a geiger-counter in a reactor. The value of Gold is actually artificial. A function of markets. Tungsten, while cheaper than the artificial value of gold, is actually much more useful.

This looks like a politically motivated, cock and bull story, by some fringe conspericy theorist.

Agreed. What possible benefit would there be in replacing gold with tungsten when lead would be a closer match by weight and be much cheaper?

This reminds me of a persistent rumor from a few decades ago that insisted a fast-food chain was serving earthworms instead of beef in its burgers. They pointed out that earthworms, pound for pound, are far more expensive....

If anyone were contemplating creating “fake” gold bars, tungsten [at roughly $10 per pound] would be the metal of choice since it has the exact same density as gold making a fake bar salted with tungsten indistinguishable from a solid gold bar by simply weighing it.

Ok, caught me on the tungsten weight issue: Tungsten = 19.25 gms/cc, gold = 17.19 gms/cc.

This author pretty well demolishes the rumor, however:

          http://www.rapidtrends.com/2009/11/14/why-gold-bugs-are-considered-nuts/

A lengthy discussion, which pretty much ends up dismissing the hoax here: http://www.chrismartenson.com/forum/tungsten-salted-gold-investment-scam-century/31370?page=1

And "fun facts about the US Mint" include the observation that gold does not enter or leave "except for audits" shoots the conspiracy down in flames:

            Just for your information:

specific weigth of .......GOLD = 19,25g/cubic centimeter

specific weigth of TUNGSTEN = 19,26g/cubic centimeter

You need a high precision balance 7 1/2 digits at least to mesure the difference.

But with that it is not so difficult to check for a difference. Anyway you can not amalgamate

gold and tungsten. Tungsten melts at a temperature where gold evaporates. But you can mix tungsten powder into liquid gold. But the powder particles remain. With an ultra sound you can check for this powder too. Powder bounces back echos.

and the Jews have religious doctrine to steal from the goy (especially if large sums are involved) actually they are commanded by god to act this way

and the Jews have a prophecy that in the end times all of the King Solomen's wealth is returned to Israel

and the Jews have a long history of robbing nations blind

then it no stretch of the imagination to logically deduce that the Fort Knox gold heist was carried out by Jews and the real gold was transferred to Israel just as their god commanded and their prophecy predicted AND JUST AS THEY HAVE DONE THROUGHOUT THEIR OWN HISTORY ALL THE WAY BACK TO THE PHAROAH

and if anyone who questions the theft of an entire nation is labeled antisemetic and those very "anti-hate" laws are sponsored by the most hateful anti Americans at the ADL (mossad spies/traitors) who are providing cover for these unimaginable crimes

Nothing to see here..... move along. Honest!!! just 137 pages of formality's and disclaimers, why would we want to hide anything?

On Aug. 5, The Federal Reserve responded to this FOIA request by adding two more documents to those disclosed to GATA in April 2008 from the earlier FOIA request. These documents totaled 173 pages, many parts of which were redacted (covered up to omit sections of text). The Fed's response also noted that there were 137 pages of documents not disclosed that were alleged to be exempt from disclosure.

I am not saying the conspiracy theory is true or not, but I believe they are talking about gold covered tungsten. Which would mean they melt the tungsten into bars and then melt the gold around the fake bars. So the thought that tungsten has a higher melting point and roughly the same weight would mean it could be true OR it could mean whoever first came up with the theory used tungsten because it fits his conspiracy best.

I don't think anyone knows or can say for sure whether there is gold in Ft. Knox or not. The same websites that claim Pres. Johnson gave it away to England also claim it was given away long before Johnson ever came to Washington. And also it was given to the Chinese. Given to the World Bank, to Goldman Sachs, it was never there, in space, under the World Trade Towers, Area 51, up Cheney's butt, stuffed in the dead bodies of the Rockefellers... you get the idea.

Also some claim it was put into the market to lower gold prices, others claim it would raise gold prices.

Would it matter either way? Our money hasn't been based on gold since Nixon. Both paper money and the gold market are heavily manipulated anyway. Much like oil prices and anything else that gets traded. Stocks can be made to go down so friends can invest and then suddenly the stocks go back up. Just look at the investments in radio stations - when the station starts putting in bad radio hosts the stocks go down, then suddenly when all the owner's friends have bought into it at a low price suddenly the bad hosts are fired and good ones are put back in and stocks go back up.

Gold is only worth what people are told it's worth by the people doing the trading. Buy at 1000 dollars for gold the size of two quarters and then try selling it at a jewlery shop, a pawn shop, a gold 4 sale type place, to your neighbor, etc, etc, etc, you'll never get the price back.

              Right?

Well... I have this wide-screen TV, and it's still too small to accommodate a butt that size...

                      :-)

Hahahahahaha! Hmm, I wonder if he stashed some of those missing Pentagon trillions in his "trunk" - no wonder there won't be room for the gold.

                        New wide-screen TVs will be labelled - 60 in., 70 in, and Cheney-wide. :-)

Those will fit only into a room the length of a city block... Yeah - that would work!
